Wow didn't know I could do that ^. Well there you have it. Make your own conclusions about his slow starts.
"The search for proper bullpen help continued for Yankees manager Joe Girardi on Friday night, when, lacking any more trustworthy alternatives, he called on rookie Mark Melancon to hold a lead in the sixth inning. One pitch later, the Bombers no longer held a lead."
This was when I was like, "Who is this guy? I don't think bringing in someone new with the bases loaded is such a good idea. (triple) ah crap." Anyways, the article I got this from was saying that the bull pen needs a break and CC is supposed to help tonight. And by help I mean not need to use them.
So A-Rod is feeling better, but he isn't hitting as good as I had hoped. Ya I know he just had surgery, but 1-6 in a game, only hit a home run, and 0-3 in another. Come on, feel the pitches A-Rod. Hope you can help the Yankees out after all.
I was right! They don't give you much information on those MLB.com gameday things but when I saw Swisher got hit and he needed a delay of game, I knew it was trouble. He left before the third inning after getting hit in the elbow in the first inning. The article says he will be back soon.
